SCHOOL CLASS TRIP

Price: NOK 2,390 per person (minimum 20 students, two adults free of charge)

Sirdal Huskyfarm invites school classes to an unforgettable stay in the beautiful Norwegian mountain landscape. Here, nature experiences, close contact with animals, and community are combined in a rich and meaningful program. Our approximately 40 social polar dogs are both the identity and the heart of the farm – ensuring that your visit will be something truly special.

Program

Arrival: Friday at approx. 5:00 p.m. – check-in at tipi cabins followed by a shared dinner.

Departure: Sunday between 12:00–1:00 p.m. after lunch.

Accommodation & Meals

• Accommodation in four tipi cabins with short walking distance to sanitary facilities.

• Full board included: breakfast, lunch, fruit break, dinner, and supper.

• To make evenings around the campfire extra cozy, we provide marshmallows, biscuits, chocolate, and everything needed for campfire bread. (Anything beyond this must be organized by the group itself.)

• We kindly ask for a list of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance.

Activities (vary with weather and season)

The stay offers varied and exciting activities that promote cooperation, creativity, and a sense of achievement:

• Dog sledding and close contact with the polar dogs

• Horseback riding

• Archery

• Clay pigeon shooting (only for students grade 10 and above)

• Fishing and swimming at the farm

• Sauna (in cool weather)

• Role play/theater on the barn stage followed by a “barn dance”

• Ball games and various outdoor activities

Evenings allow time for play, socializing, and togetherness around the fire.

Chaperones

• We kindly ask for two adults (one woman and one man) to accompany all trips.

• They are responsible for calm and supervision during the evening and nighttime until breakfast.

• Parents sleep in a lavvu (Sami-style tent).

• If more than two adults participate, they pay 50% of the student price.

Practical Information

• Price: NOK 2,390 per person (minimum 20 students, two adults free)

• Payment: 20% deposit invoiced before arrival. The remaining balance is invoiced after the stay.

• Dates: Weekends in May, June, and September (contact us via the contact form).
